Daniel S. Harder

Guest Artist

 

Daniel S. Harder began dancing at Suitland High School’s Center for the Visual and Performing Arts in MD and received additional training at the Dance Institute of Washington, Debbie Allen Dance Academy, The Ailey School, and Dance Theater of Harlem. Daniel attended the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program on full scholarship. While there, he danced in an international tour of West Side Story, and with Camille A. Brown & Dancers. Daniel became a member of Ailey II in 2009 and joined Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in 2010, where he was featured in works by Alvin Ailey, Rennie Harris, Aszure Barton, Ulysses Dove, and Kyle Abraham, among others. Daniel made his Broadway debut in Disney’s THE LION KING and has worked as a choreographer’s assistant with Debbie Allen and Christopher L. Huggins at Lula Washington Dance Theater, Philadanco, and Dallas Black Dance Theater. Daniel also teaches master classes at high schools and universities in the U.S. and abroad.
