is a recent graduate of the University of the Arts, Dance Department (2019) in Philadelphia, PA. She has a passion for dance that began when she was three years old and has grown over the years. Aliyah has trained in several dance forms including: ballet, pointe, modern, jazz and hip hop, all of which she loves. She has had the privilege of performing with the Eleone Dance Theatre Company in 2016/2017 under the direction of Shawn Lamere Williams and Dara Meredith. Aliyah celebrates that opportunity to combine her passion for dance with the talents of many choreographers, including the choreographic works of Septime Webber (, Christopher Huggins, Kathy Smith, Charles Auggins, Ronald K. Brown, Gary Jeter,, Milton Myers, Dinita & Kyle Clark. Dancing is always a welcomed opportunity for Aliyah; however, meeting President and Mrs. Obama and performing with the Washington Ballet at the White House and with the Dance Theatre of Harlem at the Kennedy Center were memorable experiences. Aliyah credits her preparation as a professional artist to her training with the Duke Ellington School of the Arts and the Washington School of Ballet and summer intensive training with the Dance Theatre of Harlem, Bates Dance Festival, Alvin Ailey Dance School and Evidence. Aliyah is looking forward to a long professional future as a dancer.
